Joe Schreiber vive in Pennsylvania ed è un noto scrittore di romanzi horror; tra i suoi lavori, Chasing the Dead e Eat the Dark.

Contagio Mortale è stato il primo romanzo che ha scritto sull’universo di Star Wars, seguito poi da Red Harvest. Al momento l’autore sta lavorando a Star Wars: Maul: Lockdown.
